A truly legendary and highly respected figure in the realms of journalism and television, Dave's love of speedway and darts saw the ' Big Man' become the instantly recognisable voice of these sports with his full throttle delivery hitting the target every time. Family, friends, colleagues and sporting personalities joined together to enjoy the warm and humorous tributes bestowed on a man whose life was never dull, ever loquacious and always deeply supportive of the family unit.
